Here at AJU Motorsport we can carry out a standard wheel alignment for your road car or we can do a full motorsport wheel alignment and corner weight set up.

We have a high quality wheel alignment ramp and a top quality 6 sensor CCD 4-wheel alignment system.
The Wheel alignment system we use can fit on any car as it clamps directly to the wheel, meaning we don’t have issues with lowered cars which some other systems do not work on.

Four-wheel alignment is becoming more important as the state of our roads deteriorates, and with more cars on the road the second-hand market is growing. Cars are also lasting longer, meaning more worn bushes, ball ends or track rods.

We can carry out alignment to either standard settings for your car or we can carry out a custom set up to your choice. we can discuss what you want from the car and how it currently feels and make recommendations for your custom set up. this comes from years of experience setting up race cars for ultimate performance.

Car wheels that are out of alignment, even by a small margin, will cause uneven tyre wear and can cost you a great deal of money when you have to replace tyres that could have had a much longer life. The misaligned tyres will also affect fuel economy and drivability. They can also place more strain on the suspension and steering of the car, and these are key to keeping the car in proper alignment.

Five danger signs that mean you must check your wheel alignment

  • When you turn a corner, the steering wheel doesn’t return to position properly
  • The car has a tendency to drift over to one side when being driven – you feel it “pulling” to the right or left. Alternatively, the steering may feel less positive than usual
  • Tyres do not last as long as they should, and when you look at them you can see that the tread is wearing unevenly
  • When you are driving in a straight line, your steering wheel is not straight – if you have a logo or symbol in the middle of the wheel, it’s easy to see whether it’s slightly tilted to the right or left
  • The tires squeal

How do tyres get out of alignment?

There are lots of different ways that tyres can become misaligned:

  • If you hit a curb
  • Driving down roads that are full of potholes
  • Any kind of accident, even a minor bump – wheel alignment should be checked as a matter of urgency after an accident
  • Worn suspension springs that have slackened, leading to a change in the wheel alignment
  • A change in the vehicle’s height – if you lower or raise the height of your car, you’ll need to adjust the alignment of the wheels

Tyre manufacturers suggest checking your wheel alignment at least every 6,000 miles. This can help you save money by allowing your tyres to last longer and wear evenly.

Keeping the wheels aligned makes your car easier to drive, which is important for safety in tough conditions like wet or icy roads. Proper alignment also helps you save fuel while driving.

A full price breakdown of any additional work will be quoted before any work is carried out, so there are no surprise costs.

For Standard Car Alignment tasks these can be carried out on a while you wait service, although it can be quite involved so wont be a quick task, however you are more than welcome to sit in our comfortable waiting area.

For motorsport and Track alignment sets up these can be very involved and while we endeavour to get these done the same day, they can and do take longer than expected so we ask for you to drop the car off and we will advise when it is complete. if this cannot be completed the same day we will get in touch to let you know.
Note the best way to get this completed the same day is to get the car to us early in the morning to give us the most time possible to complete. for any drop offs after 12:30 you will be advised that is it likely to not be completed same day, although we will always try our best to do so.
