This is a direct replacement for the PCV valve fitted to the Blacktop Zetec engine, including the ST170.

this is used when an aftermarket inlet system is used such as carbs or ITBs as they standard set up uses a vacuum for the PCV to work correctly which isn?t the case with these types of set up.
The hose from this fitting would normally be connected to an Oil Catch Can.
